Dogs: Dog Obedience Class Session #3(16 weeks+)

Beginning Monday, May 7, certified canine training specialist Christine Kiley, owner of Dogwise Obedience, will be offering a six-week general Dog Obedience Class for dogs that are at least 16 weeks of age and their owners.

Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 7-8 pm.

Christine has trained dogs in obedience for most of her life. She is a graduate of the Triple Crown Academy in Houston, TX, where she received her certification as a certified training specialist.

Her ultimate goal is to strengthen the bond between dogs and their humans through proven methods of communication. Each one-hour class, which will be held in the Westbrook Community Center Gym, will cover basics necessary for a happy dog that's a joy to own.

Using methods of positive reinforcement, your best friend will learn to:
- Walk on a loose leash
- Come when called
- Greet people politely
- Stay in a sit/down
- “Go to bed”
- “Leave it”
- Ignore pesky or troublesome leash distractions
- “Look” on request
- …and do much more!

Obedience training serves as the clearest method of communication to strengthen the human/canine bond! Written instructions will be provided with each lesson.

Registration Fee:
$120 per dog. Payment in full must be received prior to April 16 in order to hold your place.
