Motor Booty Affair, a popular 70's disco/funk tribute band who has Westbrook roots (drummer Cyclone Link Skywalker, Jr., is orginally from planet Funktar, but now calls Westbrook home), recently introduced it's new symphony Pops show, "Classical Night Fever", to rave reviews with two highly-successful concerts alongside two of the Northeast's premier orchestras, the Portland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Robert Moody, and the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, conducted by James Fellenbaum.

This world-class concert transports the audience on a journey through some of the best disco music hits of the 1970's. Complete with bell-bottoms, stylin' afros, wild polyester costume changes and some of the coolest platform shoes this side of the Milky Way Galaxy, this is a feel-good musical extravaganza of a show that everyone must see! The presentation includes lots of highly-entertaining production elements, including video, humor, choreographed dance moves and audience participation.

Much of the disco music of the 70's featured full orchestration and "Classical Night Fever" has carefully selected hits that highlight the majesty of the symphony. The show even incorporates some orchestra-only pieces that showcase the symphony with 70's TV and movie-theme medleys.

This a show that the audience is sure to remember for a long, long time!

"You wouldn't think of disco music and symphony in the same performance, but it's amazing how rich the music sounded together. The audience could tell, too - people of all ages were dancing in their seats" - David Whitehill, Executive Director Bangor Symphony Orchestra
