Swim Lessons Session 5

These lessons are based on the American Red Cross and YMCA lessons, but we go above and beyond to teach the entire aquatic experience. It is my belief that kids who have fun with a program are more likely to excel in that program

Swim Lessons Session 5
  • The Swim lessons are broken into 5 levels, based on ability.
  • It is more common than not that a child will repeat the level more than once.
  • Practice, skill and time in the water determine advancing to the next level.
  • At the end of each session your child will receive a progress report showing the skills they have worked on, and guiding you to the level they should be placed in for the next session based on instructor recommendation
  • Davan Pool Swim Lesson Sessions consist of classes that are 45 minutes long.
  • The number of classes during the session may vary due to time constraints.
  • Parents are not allowed on deck or in the observation area during class time, except during the observation weeks (middle and last class of the session). For toddler and infant classes though a parent is required in the water with the child
  • Registration is on a first come first serve basis, we cannot except mail-in, faxed, or phone in registrations. You may fill out a form and print it off to bring into the office. This will speed up the registration process.
  • Registration begins 04/23/2012 at 7:30am for Residents, 04/25/2012 for Non-Residents You can produce a registration form now but they can only be processed on registration day.
  • Producing a registration form does not put you in a class!!!
