Football, Youth Co-Ed Flag Football League (Grades 1-8)
The Westbrook Community Center, with help from local partners, will be offering this fall an organized Co-Ed Flag Football League for boys and girls in grades 1-8.
Practices will take place during the week, beginning August 13, and each team will play eight, Sunday-afternoon home games between August 26-October 28 (no games Labor Day and Columbus Day weekend). Games will take place on the Westbrook High School Utility Field at 125 Stroudwater Street, and will feature two 20-minute halves.
The fee to play is just $20. Registration is open to residents of Westbrook and all surrounding communities. Each registered player will be provided with a team jersey and mouth guard. No other equipment is necessary; just comfortable sports-playing attire. Sneakers or rubber cleats are acceptable footwear.
Standard Flag Football guidelines and rules will be used. No tackling allowed.

A minimum of 20 players needed to run the League. Deadline to register is August 10.
